At this event, East Ayrshire Council’s Vibrant Communities are recruiting specific befrienders to assist care-experienced young people who are transitioning  into their own tenancies. This bespoke support includes developing cooking skills, life skills, budget management and coping strategies to combat loneliness and isolation within the community. Young people are supported further to develop responsible citizenship in order to sustain their own tenancies.
